Before you ride
Is fuel included?
No. Vehicles are handed over with enough fuel to reach the nearest pump, and should be returned at the same level.
What if I return the vehicle late?
Let us know on WhatsApp as early as you can. Late returns may be charged as an extra day.
Who pays for traffic challans?
Any e-challan issued during your rental is the rider's responsibility and is adjusted from the deposit, with the challan copy shared with you.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged?
Damage during the rental is charged at actual repair cost, assessed together with you at return.
I live in Panvel or Ulwe. Can I rent from you?

Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp before your pickup date to cancel or change your booking.
GoRides ("we", "us") rents scooties and motorcycles from P1, Fantasia Business Park, Sector 30A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai 400705. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
Name, mobile number and email address you give when you book.
Copies of your driving licence and Aadhaar card (or other photo ID) at pickup.
Rental details: vehicle, dates, payments, deposit, damage records and traffic challans.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
Location data, only if the vehicle you rent is fitted with a GPS tracker. We will tell you at pickup if it is.
2. Why we use it
To confirm bookings and verify that you are eligible to ride.
To meet our obligations under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and rental permit conditions.
To handle payments, deposits, refunds, challans, accidents and insurance claims.
To recover the vehicle in case of theft or non-return.
To contact you about your booking. We send offers only if you agree.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only when needed with: insurance companies and surveyors (for claims), payment providers, police, RTO, courts or other authorities when required by law, and service providers who help us run the business under confidentiality terms.
4. How long we keep it
We keep booking and ID records for as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law, typically up to 3 years after the rental ends, or longer if a claim, challan or dispute is pending. We then delete or anonymise it.
5. Aadhaar
We see your original Aadhaar only for identity verification. We keep a copy with the first 8 digits masked and never use it for any other purpose.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or nominate someone to act for you. Some data we must keep by law until the retention period ends.
7. Security
We store documents securely and limit access to staff who need it. No system is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

These terms apply to every booking with GoRides. By booking or riding our vehicle you agree to them and to the Rental Agreement signed at pickup.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid, original driving licence for the class of vehicle (MCWG for geared bikes). Learner's licences are not accepted.
You must show original photo ID (Aadhaar or equivalent) at pickup.
We may refuse a rental if documents are invalid or if the rider appears unfit to ride.
2. Booking and payment
Rates are per 24-hour day: Scooty ₹699, Bike ₹999, Cruiser ₹1,499.
Full rent and a refundable security deposit are paid at pickup unless agreed otherwise.
A booking is confirmed only after we confirm it on WhatsApp or phone.
3. Use of the vehicle
Only the person named in the agreement may ride. No subletting or lending.
Wear a helmet at all times; the pillion rider must wear one too. Carry no more than one pillion.
No riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs, racing, stunts, off-roading, carrying goods for hire or towing.
Obey all traffic laws. Outstation trips need our approval at booking.
4. Fuel
Fuel is not included. Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup, or the shortfall is charged.
5. Late return
Inform us on WhatsApp before your return time if you will be late. Late returns may be charged as an extra day.
6. Damage, theft and accidents
You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental. Damage is charged at actual repair cost, assessed jointly at return.
In case of an accident or theft, inform us and the police immediately. For theft, an FIR is required.
Where insurance covers a loss, you pay any amount the insurer does not pay, including deductibles, if the loss arose during your rental.
Insurance does not cover losses caused by drunk riding, an invalid licence or breach of these terms. You are fully liable in those cases.
7. Traffic challans
All challans and fines issued during your rental are your responsibility, even if received after you return the vehicle. We may deduct them from the deposit or recover them from you.
8. Deposit refund
The deposit is refunded after the vehicle is inspected on return, less any rent due, fuel, damage, challans or other charges.
9. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for personal belongings left on the vehicle, or for indirect losses such as missed travel. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Navi Mumbai / Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancelling a booking
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 88508 09694 before your pickup date to cancel or change a booking. If you paid an advance, it is refunded in full when you cancel before the pickup date.
2. Cancelling on the pickup day or not showing up
Any advance paid may be kept as a one-day cancellation charge.
3. Returning early
If you return the vehicle before the booked period ends, unused full days may be refunded at our discretion. Partly used days are not refunded.
4. If we cancel
If we cannot provide the booked vehicle, we offer a similar vehicle or a full refund of any amount paid.
5. Security deposit
Refunded after the vehicle is inspected on return, less any deductions listed in the Terms & Conditions. Pending challans may be adjusted later.
6. Refund method
Refunds are made by the same method you used to pay (UPI, card or cash). UPI and card refunds may take 5 to 7 working days to reach your account.

Terms
Rental. The Owner rents the vehicle in the Schedule to the Rider for the period stated, for personal use only.
Licence and documents. The Rider confirms that they are at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence for this class of vehicle, and that all documents shown are genuine.
Condition at pickup. The Rider has inspected the vehicle and helmets and accepts them in the condition noted in the Schedule, with photos taken at pickup forming part of this agreement.
Rent and deposit. The Rider has paid the rent and security deposit stated. The deposit is refundable on return after deductions under this agreement.
Use. The Rider will ride personally, wear a helmet, ensure the pillion wears one, carry at most one pillion, and obey the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and all traffic rules. The Rider will not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs, race, perform stunts, sublet, lend, use the vehicle for hire or goods carriage, or take it outside Navi Mumbai / Mumbai without written approval.
Fuel and care. The Rider will use the correct fuel, park safely and lock the vehicle, and return it with the same fuel level.
Return. The Rider will return the vehicle, keys, documents and helmets to the Owner's hub by the return time. Late return may be charged as an extra day. If the vehicle is not returned within 24 hours of the return time without contact, the Owner may report it to the police.
Damage. The Rider is liable for any damage, loss of parts or loss of helmets during the rental, charged at actual repair or replacement cost assessed jointly at return.
Accident and theft. The Rider will immediately inform the Owner and the police of any accident or theft, file an FIR where required, and cooperate with the insurer. The Rider will pay any loss not paid by the insurer, and the full loss where insurance is void due to the Rider's breach.
Challans and fines. The Rider is responsible for all challans, fines, tolls and parking charges incurred during the rental, including those received after return, which the Owner may recover from the deposit or from the Rider.
Indemnity. The Rider indemnifies the Owner against third-party claims, fines and losses arising from the Rider's use of the vehicle or breach of this agreement.
Termination. The Owner may end the rental and take back the vehicle if the Rider breaches this agreement, with no refund of rent for the unused period.
Personal data. The Rider consents to the Owner keeping copies of the Rider's documents and details as described in the Owner's Privacy Policy.
Jurisdiction. This agreement is governed by Indian law. Courts at Navi Mumbai / Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
